Preparation
- Wash the green beans thoroughly and trim off the tough ends.
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Blanch the green beans for 2-3 minutes until bright green and slightly tender-crisp. Transfer to an ice bath to stop the cooking process. Drain well.
- In a large bowl, combine the chicken strips with olive oil, garlic, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss well to coat the chicken evenly.
Assembly
- Take 5-7 blanched green beans and gather them into a small bundle.
- Wrap one seasoned chicken strip tightly around the center of the green bean bundle. Secure with a toothpick if needed and repeat until all ingredients are used.
Cooking
- For baking, preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange bundles on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
- For pan-frying, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook bundles for 4-6 minutes per side until browned and cooked through.
- For air frying, preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Cook bundles for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Serving
- Garnish with fresh parsley or cilantro if desired. Serve immediately.
